Ada Mae Peters, 84 of Paxton, died at 11:45 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2021, at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton Senior Living.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2021, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells Street, Paxton with Rev. J. Kevin Wyckoff officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Buckley.

Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Friday, August 20, at the funeral home.

Ada was born August 4, 1937, in Milford the daughter of Fred and Emma Dittmer Peters.

She is survived by her sister, Maggie Peters and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Rev. Edgar Peters and one sister, Anita Rieches.

Ada was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley. She worked for Howard Industries, Milford for many years and retired from there.

She was an equestrian and had volunteered at the Illinois Knights Templar Home, Paxton. She enjoyed politics, reading, watching westerns and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
