Anthony "Tony" Martin Zajec, 66 of Paxton, passed away at 3:37 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton on Pells.

Private family services will be held.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Tony was born June 4, 1958, in Joliet the son of Alois and Josephine Simlic Zajec.

He is survived by four brothers, Alois (Maryenn) Zajec of Rescue, CA, Peter (Kim) Zajec of Bayles Lake, Loda, Paul (Pam) Zajec of Bayles Lake, Loda, Vince (Kim) Zajec of Riverview, FL and a sister, Josephine (Jef) Tellone of Ocala, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.

Tony graduated from Lemont High School in 1976. He was a union concrete tester and a member of the IUOE Local 150.  Tony moved to Paxton in 2018.
