Antonio "Tony" Evers, 31 of Rantoul a former Paxton resident, passed away at 1:40 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018, at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells Street, Paxton. A private burial will be held in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the memorial service from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Tony was born April 14, 1986 in Champaign the son of Filemon Pizano and Cheri Lynn Evers. He graduated from Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School in 2004. He was enrolled in the nursing program at Parkland College and was currently a health care technician at Carle Hospital.

He is survived by his fiancé, Samantha Cessna; his father Filemon (Maria) Pizano of Kentland, Indiana; grandmother, LaFonda Evers of Paxton and brother, Keith (Donna) Evers of Stephens City, Virginia.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Shawn Noe and grandfather, Wayne Evers.

Tony enjoyed people and making friends. He loved going to the dog park with his best friend "Max". In his spare time, he liked to play video games and watch tv and movies.
