Arlene Christine Coulter, 95 of Paxton, passed away at 4:11 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at her daughter's home.

Private services will be held with burial in Glen Cemetery, Paxton. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Arlene was born December 4, 1924 in Sibley the daughter of Albin and Emma Enghausen Neubauer. She married Wendell R. Coulter April 28, 1946 in Sibley. He preceded her in death March 27, 2008.

She is survived by her children, Dale (Phyllis) Coulter of Bloomington, Mary (Gary) Allen of Paxton, Karl (Barbara) Coulter of Fisher, Myra Johnson of Paxton, Kenneth (Becky) Coulter of Urbana; 12 grandchildren, Brian Coulter, Angela (Doug) Worthy, Troy (Tami) Allen, Nichole (Joshua) Faulkner, Shane Allen, Kristin Coulter, Seth (Sarah) Coulter, Jennifer (Tyler) Evans, Pamela (Shane) Puls, Christopher Johnson, Clayton (Allison) Coulter, Clinton (Amy) Coulter; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Delmar Neubauer of Bloomington, Allen Neubauer of Saybrook; 2 sisters, Wilma Stapp of Goldsboro, NC and Merna Steidinger of Bloomington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and one brother.

Arlene attended Sibley Grade School and graduated from Sibley High School in 1942. She lived in Paxton, Rural Sibley and Dewey before moving to Paxton in 1990. Arlene was the postmaster at Dewey retiring in 1992 after 23 years of service. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Paxton.

She enjoyed playing the organ, painting, needlework and working jigsaw puzzles.
