Beverly Ann Cooper, 87, of Paxton passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at 9:34 a.m. Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2026 at Full Gospel Christian Fellowship, 619 S. Railroad Ave., Paxton with Pastor Ken Young officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, at the church. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Beverly was born February 21, 1939 in Champaign the daughter of Herman Eugene and Vilma A. Shuck Adams. She married Terrence K. "Terry" Cooper August 15, 1959 in Urbana. He survives.

Along with her husband, Terry, she is survived by two daughters, Cindy (Jim) Gabbard of Urbana, Sharon (Rob) Dargan of Paxton; five grandchildren, James (Kristina) Gabbard of Tolono, Christina Tredway of Urbana, Matthew (Kelly) Cooper of Ottawa, Michael Cooper of Paxton, Michelle (Dekoda) Nelson-Thomas of Fisher; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son David E. Cooper and brother Richard Adams.

Beverly graduated from Urbana High School in 1957 and Rhema Bible Training College in 1979.
She worked at the Urbana Courthouse and Magnavox before becoming a full-time homemaker.

Beverly was a member of Full Gospel Christian Fellowship, Paxton and was instrumental in the operation of the church. She enjoyed sewing and camping. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her husband of over 66 years.
