With great sadness the family of Beverly A. Foster announces her death, February 16 th , 2019, at the age of 66, after battling a lengthy illness. Beverly (Bev) is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles (Chuck) Foster and their children, Sean Foster (Dayla) and Tracie Foster Blue (Justin). Bev will be affectionately remembered by her six grandchildren, Savannah, Noah, Alyssa, Joshua, Emma and Averie for the rest of their lives. She will always be treasured by her sister, Lisa (Troy) Thorndyke as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.
Bev was born in Paxton, Illinois on February 20 th , 1952. On November 28 th , 1962 she accepted Christ and was baptized into the Christian faith at the Paxton Church of Christ. She graduated from Paxton High School in 1970. On December 18 th , 1971 she married Chuck Foster and started what would become her pride and life's legacy, her children and grandchildren.
In addition to working in the family business for over a decade, Bev's life was filled with her favorite hobbies, which included motorcycle road trips, bowling, crafting, knitting, gardening, television, family texting, games and traveling with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a passionate volunteer with the Paxton PTA, Girl Scouts and church activities.
Bev was a loyal advocate and defender of her family. She was always the life of the party with her contagious laughter and sense of humor, which only grew as grandchildren were born into the family. When advice was sought, she would support her family and friends with wise life encouragement.
A public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. with a Celebration of Bev's life beginning at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 23 rd , Paxton Church of Christ, 400 West Ottawa Road, Paxton, Illinois, 60957, family friend and pastor Dr. Shan Caldwell will be officiating. Graveside services and a luncheon will immediately follow. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling the arrangements.
Memorial donations in memory of her life can be made to the American Lung Association or an organization of the donor's choice. Condolences may be offered at www.baierfuneralservices.com.
