Beverly P. Griswold, 93, of Anderson, passed away on December 9, 2022, at her residence.

She was born on January 31, 1929, in Paxton, Illinois, the daughter of Lee C. and Hilda (Busing) Brison.

Beverly graduated from Paxton High School in 1947. She later attended Wesleyan University and was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.

On December 19, 1948, she married George W. Griswold and together with four children, they lived East of Ludlow, IL, for 22 years.

She taught piano and organ lessons and was active in the Ludlow Christian Church and the American Legion Auxillary.

In 1970, Bev moved to Anderson, Indiana, where she was in business for many years. After retirement, she and Bill enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida. Beverly was an excellent Bridge player and played until she was 90 years old, and also played the piano until July of this year.

She is survived by her children, David (Barbara) Griswold, Kristi (Jim) Stanley, Sherri West (companion, Robert McDowell), and Jamie Griswold; 9 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, twin great-great grandsons, as well as a number of step-great grandchildren, and step-great-great-grandchildren; nephew, Bryce Bankert, of California; and loving cat, Iris.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George W. "Bill" Griswold; sister, Bonnie Bankert; and granddaughter, Michele Giddings.

Visitation will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN, 46013, on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Services will be at the funeral home on Thursday, at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Klinger officiating.

Burial will take place at Ludlow Cemetery, Ludlow, Illinois, at a later date. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling local arrangements.
