Blake Lee Williams, 32, of Buckley passed away at 9:45 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2021.

A private family Celebration of Life service will be held. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Blake was born January 15, 1989 in Watseka the son of Dana Pate. He spent his childhood in Paxton. Blake attended PBL High School and Lake Land College, Mattoon.

He is survived by a daughter, Taygen; fiancée, Courtney St. Clair of Buckley; mother, Dana (Travis Elkins) Pate of Paxton; father, Eric Schwing of Paxton; brother, Tyler Schwing of Charleston; maternal grandmother, Joyce Peers of Wellington; paternal grandparents, Larry and Mary Schwing of rural Paxton; several aunts and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Robert Peers.

Blake had a love of reading and was very smart. He enjoyed all sports, especially riding dirt bikes and skateboarding.
