Bradley E. Dickson, 61, of Paxton passed away Friday, July 28, 2023 at his home.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Glen Cemetery, Paxton with Pastor Marcus McCollom officiating.

Visitation will be 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023 at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells Street, Paxton.

Brad was born November 16, 1961 in Decatur the son of James Richard and Mary Sue Cox Dickson. He married Patricia Owens April 8, 1989 in Bloomington. She survives.

Along with his wife Patricia, he is survived by brother, Craig (Yolanda Hawk) Dickson of Mahomet; sister, Teri Dickson of Tolono; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Dickson.

Brad graduated from Tuscola High School in 1979. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Illinois and a Master's Degree from Eastern Illinois University.  Brad's career was in banking. He was a member of the SAE Fraternity and a fifth-degree black belt in Isshin-Ryu Karate.

He enjoyed bicycle rides, traveling and a good porch swing. Brad looked forward to his annual trip to Sanibel Island.
