Brenda Jean Gebauer, 89, of Fisher passed away at 8:22 a.m. Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Heritage Health, Gibson City.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Brenda was born June 3, 1932 in Stibbard, England the daughter of Cecil and Dorothy Engall Bird. She married Raymond A. Gebauer August 6, 1955 in Fakenham, England. He preceded her in death February 6, 2010.

She is survived by two sons, Steve (Linda) Gebauer of Rantoul, Mike (Margie) Gebauer of Mahomet; daughter, Debi (Dan) Custer of Mahomet; nine grandchildren, Steve, Samantha, Joshua, Erica, Eilea, Elisa, Nycki, Justin, and Denny; 14 great grandchildren; one sister, Jeannie Calton and family of Norwich, England; and one brother, Gilbert Bird of Guist, England.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Derek and great grandson, Camden.

While her husband was in the Air Force they lived in Rapid City, South Dakota, France, Germany, Grand Forks, North Dakota and Fisher, Illinois. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
