Brooke Nichole Mullins, 45 of Loda, died at 10:02 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2026, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2026, at First Lutheran Church, Paxton with Rev. Scott Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells Street, Paxton.

Brooke was born February 8, 1981, in Gibson City the daughter of Maurie and Janet Waller Saldeen. She married Josh Mullins June 19, 2004, at the Covenant Church, Paxton. He survives.

Along with her husband, Josh, she is survived by two daughters, Grace and Madilynn Mullins; her parents, Maurie and Janet Saldeen of Paxton; two sisters, Courtney (Justin) Bouse of Loda, Paige (Jamie) Weber of Buckley; in-laws, Randy and Debbie Mullins of Rantoul, Jessica Mullins of Champaign, Chelsea (Justin) McCarty of Fisher and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ted and Edith Saldeen and Ray and Josephine Waller.

Brooke graduated from PBL High School in 1999 and attended Parkland College. She was a licensed real Estate Broker with Lenington Realty, Paxton.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Paxton, where she had served as church secretary, and also a member of 100 Women Who Care-Central Illinois and the Golf League.

Brooke enjoyed golfing, bird watching, and baking sour dough bread. She was full of life and always ready to try something new. Brooke loved spending time with her family and being a mom to her beautiful daughters.
