Caitlynn Taylor Riblet 19, of Loda passed away at 5:40 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at her home.
A funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 407 W Pells, Paxton with Father Scaria Thoppil officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery.
Visitation will 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells, Paxton with a rosary at 3:30 p.m.
Caitlynn was born March 23, 1998 in Urbana the daughter of Ricky Eugene and Kelly Jo Watson Riblet.
She is survived by her mother and step father, Kelly (Phil) Fessler of Loda; father and step mother, Ricky (Kelly) Riblet of rural Loda; brother S. Christopher (Dani) Bily of Charleston; three step brothers, Zachary Fessler of Champaign, Cody Fessler, of Waverly, OH, Konnor Glazik of rural Loda; two step sisters, Miranda Rowland of Champaign, Megan Daniels of Urbana; maternal grandparents, Ken and Judy Watson of Loda; four nieces, Harper and Addison Bily, Emma Daniels, Paisleigh Fessler; and two nephews, Nathan Daniels and Franklin Rowland.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Roy and Waunita Riblet.
Caitlynn graduated from Paxton Buckley Loda High School in 2016. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Paxton.
She was a lifeguard at the Paxton Pool and Lake Iroquois and had worked at Central Lean, Paxton. She enjoyed baking cupcakes, playing sports, and movies, especially the scary ones.
Caitlynn was known for being very charitable. For instance, she had a bake sale, donating the money to the Rush Hospital Pediatric Ward.
