Carol Anderson, 85 of Paxton, died Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Gibson Community Hospital Annex.

Private family funeral services will be held followed by burial in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.

Carol was born October 23, 1939, in Liberty, Kentucky the daughter of George Roe and Bessie Marie Sharpe Cochran.  She married Jerry Johnson April 7, 1964. He preceded her in death August 1989.  She married Paul Anderson March 17, 1990.  He preceded her in death July 2015.

She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda (Brad) Weisenbarn of Paxton and Marlynn (Craig) Luhrsen of Buckley; grandchildren, Katie (Matt) Walker of Champaign, Myndi Schmid of Chicago, Keisha (Jim) Nation of St. Louis, Kyle Luhrsen of Champaign and two brothers of Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Mark Johnson and several brothers and sisters.
