Carol Melisa "Lisa" Neal, 58 of Gibson City, died at 12:02 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, at her daughter's home in Paxton.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2025, at Living Word Church, Roberts with Pastor Douglas Lee officiating.  Burial will follow in Drummer Twp. Cemetery, Gibson City.

Visitation will be three hours before the service from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the church.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Lisa was born September 4, 1966, in Metropolis the daughter of Hillis and Carol "Joan" Bailey Jones.  She married Larry Neal December 7, 2013, in Roberts.  He survives.

Along with her husband, Larry, she is survived by her children Melisa (Matt) Heideman of Paxton, Jason Tanner of Gibson City, Philip (Krystal) Neal of Indiana, Tawnya Neal of Rantoul, Matthew Neal of North Carolina, Tabitha (Josh) Wooten of Carmin; 15 grandchildren; her parents Hillis and Joan Jones of Mayfield, KY,  grandmother, Barbara  Jones of Golconda; one brother, Toby (Shanna) Jones, two sisters, Rhonda Jones and Mindy (Tim) Colley and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and  nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Jones, Henry and Velma Tolbert, Ernest and Lovetta Bernice Bailey, great grandchildren Geo and Crystal and a nephew Dayton Colley.

Lisa was a faithful member of Living Word Church, Roberts.  She enjoyed drawing, coloring and crafting.  She loved helping people and spending time with her grandkids.
