Carolyn Daniels Carter, 85 of Paxton, passed away at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2020, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Full Gospel Christian Fellowship, 619 S. Railroad Avenue, Paxton with Pastor Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgeland Twp. Cemetery, Thawville. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the church and one hour before the funeral service Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.

Carolyn was born February 18, 1935 in Quincy the daughter of Frank J. and Margaret Eleanor Daigh Clark. She married Harley M. Daniels March 1, 1953 in Griggsville. He preceded her in death January 1, 2012. She married Donald Carter October 12, 2014 in Paxton. He survives.

Along with her husband, Don, she is survived by a son, Maurice (Donna) Daniels of Paxton; four daughters, Mary Jo (Dave) Miller of Champaign, Nancy (Chad) Riggleman of Rural Buckley, Charlotte (Tom) Wall of Hopedale, Sandi (Chris) Smith of West Moreland, TN; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harley and a son, John Wayne Daniels.

Carolyn graduated from Griggsville High School in 1953. She and her husband moved to Thawville in 1969 and to Buckley in 1981. She was a charter member of the Full Gospel Christian Fellowship in Paxton.

Carolyn enjoyed camping and country gospel music. She had a passion for riding horses and did so for a large portion of her life. She always looked forward to setting up and displaying her Christmas village. Carolyn was a great cook and loved family get-togethers.
