Charles E. Robertson, 83, of Paxton passed away at 10:11 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2017 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis.

There will be no services, Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family.

Charles was born March 18, 1934 in St. Elmo, Illinois the son of Elmer and Hazel Neff Robertson. He married Bethel Brooks on September 18, 1983 in Kankakee. She survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Charles worked in the oilfields all around the country. He and his wife lived in Leesburg, Florida for 23 years, where he had his own lawn care and landscaping business. He enjoyed watching tv and target shooting with his friends.
