Christine T. Ecklor, 103 of Byron and formerly of Rantoul and Urbana, died at 6:04 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Neighbors Healthcare, Byron.

A private burial will be held in Maplewood Cemetery, Rantoul.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Christine was born October 2, 1922, in Moorehead, Kentucky the daughter of Allie and Cora Lambert Wells.  She married William Rardon.  He preceded her in death in 1966.  She married Paul R. Ecklor October 3, 1969, in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He preceded her in death January 9, 2008.

She is survived by one sister, Carol (George) Boyer of DeKalb; one brother, Ray Wells of Buckley and numerous nieces and nephews.  Christine was preceded in death by her husbands; son, Gary; three sisters, Vivian Reynolds, Barb Park, Marie Inkster and one brother, John Wells.

Christine enjoyed shopping, gardening and doing everyday tasks.  She loved spending time with her sisters and brothers.
