Clark Richard Seibring, 88, of rural Ludlow, passed away at 4:32 am Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at his home.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 11 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells, Paxton with burial to follow at Glen Cemetery, Paxton, at 12:30 p.m.
Clark was born November 16, 1934, in Gilman, the son of Elmer Joseph and Ella Marie McMillan Seibring . They later moved to rural Paxton.
He married Carol Ann McCabe on February 9, 1957, at St. Mary Church, Paxton, IL. Clark served in the Army. He owned and operated several businesses including a gas station with his brother, Rollie, and a garbage service. Clark was the manager of France Broom Company for over 50 years retiring in 2014. He also farmed for over 70 years, a passion that ran deep. Clark was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed shooting pool with his friends in Ludlow.
Clark is survived by his wife Carol, three daughters Susan Claire Sligar, Boca Grande, FL; Sharon Marie (Stan) Gibson, Scottsdale, AZ; Sally Ann (Michael) Morone, Billings, MT and one son Richard Jay (Peggy) Seibring of Paxton, IL. He is survived by 8 grandchildren Reed Sligar, Kadi Gibson (Eric) Schultz, Ella Morone, Ben Morone, Justin (Taylor) Burnett, Jase (Amanda) Popel, Brad Seibring, and Jenna Seibring. He also had 11 great-grandchildren Karleigh, Jordyn, Kyler, Landyn, Konnor, Madyx, Maleigha, Kase, Barrett, Dane, and Kolins, and two great-great-granddaughters Ryleigh and Maverick. He leaves one brother Clyde Russell Seibring of St. Lucie, FL, two sisters-in-law Alyce Seibring and Grace Meents, both of Paxton, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Clark was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gene Seibring and Rollie Seibring, and sister Charlene Lindauer.
