Cleo Jean Havener, 90 of Buckley, passed away at 12:42 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017, at Accolade Health Care Center of Paxton.

A private family graveside service will be held at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Loda. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Cleo was born August 29, 1927 in rural, Loda the daughter of Holiver and Bertha Johnson Dale. She married John "Jack" Havener on September 17, 1949 in Kankakee. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2014.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Harry Blizzard) Klann of Delray Beach, Florida; Susan (Tony) Luening of Paxton; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two half-sisters and two half-brothers.

Cleo attended Victor Grade School, rural, Loda, Eden Grade School, Rural, Melvin and graduated from Melvin Community High School. In 1987 she and her husband moved from the farm to Buckley. She was a member of the Loda United Methodist Church. Cleo enjoyed cooking and sewing.
