Dale S. Kuester, 52, of Paxton passed away at 9:40 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells Street, Paxton with Rev. Debra Domeier officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date at Woodland Cemetery, Buckley.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at the funeral home.

Dale was born June 15, 1964 in Watseka the son of Gordon and Donna Wells Kuester.


He is survived by one daughter, Erin (Kyle) Allen of Covington, Indiana; one grandson, Tristan Scott Allen; one brother, Dana (Barb) Kuester of Paxton; one sister, Kim (Darren) Rydell of St. Joseph; three nieces and one nephew; a close group of high school friends and his dog, Payton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother in infancy.

Dale graduated from Buckley-Loda High School in 1982. He worked at Baltimore Aircoil Company, Paxton for 24 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley.


Dale was an avid Bears, Cubs, Bulls and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed fishing, bird watching and plants. His greatest joy was spending time with his daughter, Erin.
