We lost our son, David R Braemer II, 34, in death on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 6:32 p.m. He is survived by his father, David R. Braemer; mother, Courtenay L Braemer; sister, Jacquelin M. Braemer; brother, Michael Q. Braemer; sister, Catherine L. Fabian. He is also survived by his son, Alexander M. Braemer; step-son, Gabe St. Peter; and his two nieces, Elizabeth C. Fabian and Jasmine D. Fabian.

David was born June 18, 1987 at Portsmouth, Virginia Naval Hospital the son of David R. and Courtenay Whittler Braemer and spent most of his youth in Fayetteville, NC. He graduated from Iroquois West High School in 2005 and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of Illinois, Champaign. David enjoyed painting, drawing, manga and spending time with his family. He loved his sons and cherished every moment he spent with them.

David passed away after a long battle with MS. He was surrounded by his family when he passed away peacefully in his sleep. David was a selfless individual who put the needs of everyone before his own up to the end. He always made everyone he met smile and laugh. David faced his death head on with nothing to fear or to be sorry for. He was the bravest, strongest person we know. David was our hero and he will be deeply loved and missed by us all.

There will be no services. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.
