Debra Kay DeAtley, 65 of Paxton, passed away at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Private family funeral services were held. Burial was in Glen Cemetery, Paxton. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Debra was born April 3, 1956 in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of Alan and Roberta Cross Allred. She graduated from Paxton High School in 1974. Her employment career included Switchcraft and Animal Clinic of Paxton.

She is survived by one son, Justin DeAtley of Mansfield, her mother and step-father Roberta and Don Martin, one sister, Patsy Hofbauer and her dog, Maci.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Julie Allred.

During her high school years, she was a member of the National Honor Society and listed in the Who's Who Among American High School Students. She was a former member of The International Order of Rainbow for Girls through Prospect Chapter No. 367 O.E.S. and a member of the Red Hat Society.

Deb enjoyed gardening, animals and QVC shopping. She always took great pride in her appearance.
