Dolores Josephine Kietzman, 96 of Roberts, died at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Roberts with Rev. Matt Geerdes officiating. Burial will follow in Lyman Township Cemetery, Roberts.

Visitation will be one hour before the funeral service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Dolores was born February 11, 1929, in Roberts the daughter of Bernard and Gertie Bear Sturm.  She married Walter P. Kietzman June 7, 1947, at the Melvin Lutheran parsonage.  He preceded her in death May 6, 2001.

She is survived by one son, Bruce (Lori) Kietzman of Paxton; 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Laura Fuoss, one son, Gary Kietzman; three brothers, Muryl Sturm, Lloyd Sturm, Homer Sturm and one sister, Gladys Hartt.

Dolores graduated from Roberts High School.  She worked at Sturm's Drugstore, Roberts for a number of years and at Onarga Crop Service as the secretary/bookkeeper for more than 15 years.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Roberts and the Women of the ELCA.  She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.  Dolores served on the Roberts Gym Board and was instrumental in saving the gym.

Dolores enjoyed baking, especially pies and cinnamon rolls, cleaning and painting. She loved spending time with her family, being an "Oma" and cooking Sunday dinners.
