Dolores Marie "Dee" Ehler, 94 of Thomasboro, died at 7:06 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Country Health Care, Gifford.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at American Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Rantoul with Rev. Aaron Dawson officiating.  Burial will follow in Beckman Cemetery, Flatville.

Visitation will be two hours before the funeral service Wednesday, February 25, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. also at the church.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Flatville is handling arrangements.

Dee was born April 14, 1931, in Urbana the daughter of Joseph and Helena Onnen Johnson.  She married Roy R. Ehler January 18, 1948, at her parent's home.  He preceded her in death June 20, 2007.

She is survived by her children, Daniel (Sandy) Ehler of Thomasboro, Dwight Ehler of Urbana, David Ehler of Urbana, Del (Dee) Ehler of Champaign, Darcy Thomas of Sarasota; seven grandchildren Dustin, Kristofer, Aaron, and John Ehler, Jessi Young, Danielle and Dylan Thomas; nine great grandchildren; and three sisters, Lucy Buck, Marjorie Eggers and Carol Carver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter Amber Ehler; one brother, Mel Johnson; a sister, Mildred Roseman and two daughters-in-law, Julie Ehler and Kay Ehler.

Dee was a member of the American Lutheran Church, Rantoul.  She was a farm wife and homemaker.  She enjoyed bowling with her sisters and gardening.  Her most important thing was always being there for her grandchildren.
