Donald H. Martin, 62 of Buckley, passed away at 10:32 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Gibson Area Hospital, Gibson City.

A gathering of friends will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2022, at the Buckley American Legion, 313 S. Walnut, Buckley.

Donald was born April 1, 1960, in Watseka the son of Melvin Eugene and Elfrieda Ewerks Martin.

He is survived by Patricia Doran; her children and grandchildren; one brother, Tom Martin of Ashkum and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Donald graduated from Clifton Central High School in 1978 and received training as a diesel mechanic.  He owned and operated his own mechanic business for a number of years and worked for G & D Salvage, Loda for 18 years.

He enjoyed fishing, antique tractors and going to tractor shows.
