Doris A. Lindstrom, 95 of Paxton, passed away at 4:11 A.M. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

A private family funeral service will be held. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Paxton. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Doris was born May 23, 1922 in Bement the daughter of Edward Ralph and Marceline Durbin Lamb. She married Niles Howard Lindstrom July 4, 1942 in Bement. He preceded her in death June 2, 2015.

She is survived by two sons, David Lindstrom of rural Paxton, Gary (Margaret) Lindstrom of Paxton; grandchildren and great grandchildren and a sister, Lelia Ward of Fisher.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Nils, one brother and two sisters.

Doris graduated from Bement High School. In 1959 she and her husband and family moved to a farm in rural Paxton. She loved being a farm wife and worked alongside her husband. She even had her own tractor. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and dogs of all kinds. She also loved people and always had a kind word for everyone. Her greatest joy was her family.

Doris was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Paxton.
