Dorothy Brandon, 93 of Rantoul, passed away at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Il.

Dorothy was born in Arrowsmith on June 20, 1929, to Bert and Bertha Agee.  She graduated from White Star Country School, Bellflower Township High School and Mennonite Hospital School of Nursing.  She was last employed at Burnham City Hospital.

She is survived by two sons, Scot (Kristy) Brandon of Rantoul, Steve (Lee) Brandon of Conway, Arkansas; grandchildren Tara Rosenbeck, Graham (Kelly) Sellers, Blaire (Adam) Grey, Erin (Andy) Cler, Sarah Brandon, Kayla Brandon, Dylan Brandon; great grandchildren, Noelle Glasshoff, Bason Rosenbeck, Olivia and Morgan Sellers, McCoy and Waylon Cler.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert "Wib" Brandon in 2011; son, Vince; parents, Bert and Bertha Agee and sister, Marjorie Builta.

Dorothy was a member of the Bethany Park Christian Church and the Christian Women's Fellowship. She had been a Sunday School teacher and a volunteer in the clothing center at the church.  She enjoyed watching Chicago Bulls and University of Illinois basketball games, knitting, embroidering, crossword puzzles, walking and baking cookies.  She dearly loved her family and prepared many family dinners.

Visitation will be one hour before the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Bethany Park Christian Church, Rantoul.  Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Bellflower Township Cemetery.
