Elisa De Leon, 78, of Champaign passed away at 8:26 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at The Haven of Meadowbrook, Champaign.

Per her wishes there will be no services. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Elisa was born December 22, 1946 in Chicago the daughter of Raymond De Leon and Theodora Martinez.

She is survived by her daughter, Juanita Renee Helm Ochoa of Roberts, 8 grandchildren, Frank, James, Vincent, Daniel, Ariel, Bianca, Michael, and Faith, 18 great grandchildren, a sister, Gloria Barrera of Cicero, and two brothers, Jesse Martinez and Ray Martinez both of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Francisco Vargas, Jr. and daughter Michealina Christina Helm.

Elisa enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and raising the neighborhood kids.
