Eva Mae Fox, 97, of Carmichael, California passed away November 9, 2019.

Private graveside services will be held, Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Eva was born September 8, 1922 the daughter of James Edward and Lena Williams Triplett. She married Billy Edward Fox January 25, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He preceded her in death February 21, 2017.

She is survived by one daughter, Jerri (Daniel) Classen of Oakland, CA; one granddaughter, Leah Classen of Oakland, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Raymond Triplett; and one sister, Mildred Craig.

Eva spent her childhood in rural Loda and graduated from Loda High School in 1940 and Michael Reese Nursing School, Chicago in 1946. Eva and her husband moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1956 and later Sacramento, CA in 1957. She was a medical surgical nurse and post-surgery manager at Sutter General Hospital in Sacramento for over 30 years.

Eva was a member of Arcade Baptist Church, Sacramento and a very active member of the Sacramento SPCA. She loved all kinds of animals. Eva enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting and sewing.
