Evelyn Darlene Eppelheimer, 68 of Rantoul, passed away at 12:08 a.m. Friday, January 1, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Graveside services will be at Glen Cemetery, Paxton 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 with Rev. Tom Anders officiating.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Evelyn was born July 5, 1952 in Champaign the daughter of Omer and Gladys Jameson Reed.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle (Danny) Poll of Paxton, Nicole Jayne of Paxton; her partner of many years, Jim Jones;  four grandsons, Matt Poll, Cory Poll and Kyle Poll all of Paxton, Zachary Jayne of Paxton; two sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Renken of Paxton, Wanita (Ron) Schneider of Rantoul; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Dawn Eppelheimer; three brothers, Dwayne Reed, Melvin "Red" Reed and John Reed; two sisters, Eula Mullvain and Wilma Unzicker.

Evelyn attended the Paxton Church of Christ. She worked at France Broom Company, Paxton.

Evelyn enjoyed reading, fishing and gardening. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
