Obituary

Francis C. "Frank" Livermore, 83 of Paxton passed away at 7:41 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2020 at his home.

Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Frank was born January 6, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Pete and Viola Hinson Livermore. He married Morag McKibbon February 20, 1965 in Monkton, Scotland. She survives.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael (Traci) Livermore of Mahomet, Patrick Livermore of Clayton, North Carolina; and one granddaughter, Abigail Livermore.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Frank spent his childhood in Atchison, Kansas and Pueblo, Colorado. He graduated from Pueblo High School and obtained an Associates Degree from Pueblo Community College. Frank proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1956-1978. He served in the Vietnam War as a flight mechanic. Frank and his wife moved to Paxton in 1975. He was an instructor at Chanute Air Force Base, Rantoul until his retirement. Upon retirement he worked at Riteway Auto Parts and managed Bumper 2 Bumper in Rantoul and later managed Napa and Carquest Auto Parts in Paxton.

He enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, target shooting with rifles and pistols and tinkering in the garage with computers.
