Franklin D. Punke, 87, a lifelong farmer, died at 4:38 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Gibson Area Hospital Annex.

Private family services will be held at Glen Cemetery, Paxton.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Franklin is survived by a daughter, Marty (Dave) Eyer; a son, David (Cyndi) Punke; granddaughter Alison (Eric) Horstmann and two sisters, Mary Punke and Margaret Farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Fred Punke and sister, Rachel Moser.
