Gary Maurice Crane, 51, of Rantoul passed away at 9:06 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton Senior Living.

There will be no services at this time. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Gary was born December 10, 1970 in Alton, Illinois the son of Dennis and Toni Kelley Crane. He married Brenda Shea in Rantoul.

He is survived by his mother, Toni Hethke of Rantoul; brother, Stephen Crane of Rantoul; ex-wife, Brenda Crane of Rantoul; two nieces and numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Scott Crane.

Gary spent his childhood in Rantoul and graduated from Rantoul Township High School. He worked for the City of Rantoul as an electrician before becoming the owner and operator of Crane Electric, Rantoul. Gary enjoyed biking, fishing and playing golf.
