George Alexander Mayberry, Jr., 74 of Paxton, passed away at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at his home.

He was born October 14, 1947, in Riverside, California the son of George Alexander and Evelyn Ingle Mayberry, Sr.  He married Tina Saylor June 9, 1995 in Missouri.  She survives.

Along with his wife, Tina, he is survived by two daughters Kim Ouelette, Christina (Ben) Jackson of Alvin; two sons Jamie (Corina) Fuoss of Paris and Bryan Fuoss and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Stacey Murphy and a sister.

George graduated from Rantoul Twp. High School and attended Parkland College.  He retired from Kraft Foods where he had been a line worker and truck driver.

He was a former governor of the Rantoul Moose Lodge and a member of the Loda Sportsman's Club.  He enjoyed trap shooting and playing pool.  George was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He loved his dogs and grandchildren.
