Geraldine A. "Gerry" Schuldt, 100 of Buckley, died at 5:59 a.m. Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2025, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley with Rev. J. Kevin Wyckoff officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Buckley.

Visitation will be two hours before the service from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Friday at the church.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Buckley is handling arrangements.

Gerry was born November 4, 1924, in Wentworth, South Dakota the daughter of Fred and Lydia Weerts Lessman.  She married Arnold F. "Arn" Schuldt August 17, 1947, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley.  He preceded her in death May 13, 2017.

She is survived by two sons, Terry (Barb) Schuldt of Buckley, Tim Schuldt of Buckley, a daughter-in-law, Julie Schuldt of Buckley; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Tom Schuldt, two brothers, Herbert and Wilbert Lessman and a sister, Phyllis Henegar.

Gerry graduated from Wentworth High School in 1942.  She was the Buckley Postmaster for 20 years retiring in 1990.  Gerry was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley.  She enjoyed reading, puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
