Irma Louise Tibbetts, 95, of Paxton passed away at 2:05 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2026 at Bickford of Champaign.

Private family graveside services will be held at Glen Cemetery, Paxton. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Irma was born February 28, 1931 in Swampscott, Massachusetts the daughter of Leslie A. and Margaret M. Phinne Clark. She married Everett W. Tibbetts on June 16, 1950 in Danvers, Massachusetts. He preceded her in death December 6, 1995.

She is survived by two daughters, Julie (Richard) Vaughn of Rantoul, Sandra Liming of Kansas City, Missouri; four grandchildren, Randy McDuffee, Sara (Brian) Kelsch, Stuart Liming, Philip Liming; two great grandsons, Everett Liming and Parker Kelsch; one great granddaughter, Adryona McDuffee; and a brother, Robert Clark of West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett; and brother, Richard D. Clark.

Irma was a member of the Paxton First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting and knitting.
