James A. "Jim" Bloodworth, Sr., 81, of Paxton passed away 8:30 p.m. December 27, 2021 at Eastview Terrace, Sullivan.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1803 N Coler Ave, Urbana with Pastor Terry Cooper officiating. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jim was born November 25, 1940 in Saybrook the son of Bonnie Edward and Hazel Harrell Bloodworth. He married Mildred "Millie" Sarah Campbell October 3, 1998 in Thomasboro. She preceded him in death December 4, 2020.
He is survived by his son, James A. Bloodworth, Jr. of Mahomet; daughter, Angie (Tim) Drollinger of Urbana; two step daughters, Tiffany Phillips of Covington, Indiana, Denise Schneider of Conway, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren; one great grandson; brother, Robert Bloodworth of Mahomet; and nephew, Brayan Bloodworth of Urbana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Daniel Bloodworth and an infant brother, Edgar Bloodworth.
Jim spent his childhood in Saybrook. He worked as a truck driver for many years for McMann Distributing. After his retirement Jim had a booth at area flea markets where he sold Southwestern Collectibles. He liked to collect keys and putter around in his garage.
