James William "Jimmy" Jones, 73 of Paxton, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton Senior Living.

Services will be held at a later date.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jimmy was born October 22, 1947 in New York the son of Harvey and Florence Sellers Jones.

He is survived by a daughter, Jodi Jones of Colorado; two step daughters Michelle (Danny) Poll of Paxton, Nikki Jayne of Paxton; four grandsons Matt and Cory Poll and Kyle and Zac Jayne; two brothers, Tommy and Andy Adams and one sister Alice Adams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his partner of many years, Evelyn Eppelheimer and one sister and one brother.

Jimmy grew up in Armstrong.  He was a welder and retired from Vesuvius USA.

He enjoyed fishing, traveling and classic cars.  He was an amateur arm wrestler, loved nature and was an avid photographer.
