Janet Kay Parker, 83 of Rantoul, died at 8:22 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Country Health, Gifford.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Gifford with Pastors Gary Maxwell and Scott Guhl officiating.  Burial will follow in Huls Cemetery, Gifford.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Flatville is handling arrangements.

Janet was born August 1, 1942, in Urbana the daughter of Ernest and Ida Albers Crozier.  She married Ronald C. Parker June 16, 1963, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Gifford.  He survives.

Along with her husband, Ron, she is survived by three daughters, Julie Parker of Rantoul, Gina (Alan) Duden of Gifford, Erin (Brian) Duitsman of Gifford; seven grandchildren, Ryan (Paige) Parker, Megan Colwell, Haley (Ryan) Schlick, Drew Duden, Angel Soto, Colby Duitsman, Levi Duitsman; two great grandchildren, Kolvin and Kooper Parker; a brother, Terry (Susie) Crozier of Texas and a sister-in-law, Janice Crozier.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Don and Frank Crozier.

Janet graduated from Rantoul Twp. High School.  She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she had been baptized and confirmed.

She loved spending time with her family and attending her grandkids events.  Janet was always taking care of everyone and was the family's personal uber driver.
