Jannette Ruth Bruns, 82 of Paxton passed away at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

There will be no services. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jannette was born April 8, 1938 the daughter of Aaron and Anna Edward Binkley. She married Elmer "Ed" Arnold January 15, 1960. She later married Frank Bruns April 5, 1981 at the Paxton Church of the Nazarene. He survives.

Along with her soulmate and best friend, Frank of Paxton, she is survived by four children, Jackie Baughman of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, Alex Hess, Jr. of Columbia, California, Becky Arnold of Paxton, Richard (Joellen) Arnold of Shipman, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Brandy (Rodney) Flurry, James "Will" (Tisha) Bryant, David Hess, Jared Hess, Jessica (Justin) Grabow, Jacob (Heather) Landrus, Dane Arnold; 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jannette was a member of First Lutheran Church, Paxton. She worked at the Paxton Furniture Factory, Electronics Corp., Paxton, Baltimore Air Coil and Rantoul Products.

Jannette enjoyed cooking. She loved animals, especially her dog Suggy and all of her cats. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
