Jeffrey D. Coplea, 63 of Urbana formerly of Paxton passed away at 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Glen Cemetery, Paxton with Rev. Jennifer Hartweg-Brown officiating. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Jeff was born July 29, 1956 in Paxton the son of Russell E. and Delores D. Wagner Coplea. He graduated from Paxton High School and earned an Associate's Degree in accounting from Parkland College. He had worked for Strategic Marketing and Colwell Printing, both of Champaign.

He is survived by four aunts, Betty Dwyer of Sun City, AZ, Linda (Charles) Warren of Paxton, Karolyn Wagner of Charleston, MS, Debbie (Dick) Johnson of Fisher and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jeff attended Grace Lutheran Church, Rankin. He was a member of the Bass Club and enjoyed fishing, teaching kids how to fish, watching TV, NASCAR and sports. Jeff also had his own business "Limit Lures".
