John Goudy, 83 of Loda, Illinois passed away on October 9th, 2021 in Paxton, Illinois.

John was born on October 4th, 1938 in Olney, Illinois to William Arthur and Anna O'Neal (Hawkins) Goudy and attended Olney High School.

John worked at Ameren (formerly CIPS) for more than 30 years. John enjoyed flying his J-3 Cub, riding motorcycles, boating on Lake Iroquois, playing cards and in later years, Lotto scratch tickets.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Goudy, his children, Mike (Alex) Goudy of Loda, Pam. (John) Pfeiffer of Essen, Germany, 3 grandchildren, Matt (Brittany) Braun of Lieser, Germany, Kristi (Diego) Braun-Barragan of Houston, TX and Kalli Goudy of Loda and 2 great-grandchildren, Maya and Amelia Braun.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer 2022 in Loda, Illinois.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner´s Hospital for Children – Houston, 6977 Main Street, Houston, TX 77030 where his granddaughter received care.
