John Stanley Kizer, 68 of Rantoul, formerly of Loda, passed away at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Accolade Healthcare Paxton Senior Living.

John was born September 21, 1956, in Urbana the son of Harold Edward and Katherine Louise Bolding Kizer.

He is survived by two sons, Chad Kizer and Stanley Kizer, both of Dewey; one granddaughter, Cheyenne Kizer; a sister, Mary (Larry) Schwing of Paxton, a sister-in-law, Donna Kizer of Sun City, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Allen and David and one sister, Linda Kizer.

John had worked as a manager at Fisher-Dewey Grain and as a farmhand and mechanic in the Rantoul/Thomasboro area.  He enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
