Judith A. "Judi" LaBerdia, 85, of Paxton passed away at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 at her home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025 in Woodland Cemetery, Buckley with Rev. John Franklin officiating. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Judith was born July 26, 1939 on the south side of Chicago the daughter of Raymond E. and LaVergne Davis (nee Knauf). She married Robert E. "Birdy" LaBerdia May 18, 1984 in Markham. He preceded her in death October 12, 2014.

She is survived by two daughters, LaVonne (Ben) Mann, Lynny Lou (Ken) Schneider; two sons, Robert C. (Patricia) Krueger, Jr., Guy Thomas (Louise) Krueger; daughter-in-law, Darlene Krueger; 14 grandchildren, Adam, Eric, Arielle, Ashley, Nathan, Ryan, Joshua, Kyle, Noah, Kenton, Brett, Tara, Matt, Mandi; 18 great grandchildren, Ben, Blake II, Will, Gabriel, Wyatt, Adler, Cole, Bryce, Leo, Avery, Isla, Adler, Wyatt, Colette, Hannah, Sophia, Maxton Bear, Paisley; and one great-great grandchild, Maverick.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Birdy; two sons, Blake Krueger and David Raymond Krueger; three grandsons, Cody, Michael and Avery; three brothers, Ray Jr., Chuck, and Jack; and a sister, Roberta.

Judi loved being a housewife, mother and Christian! She held several jobs over the years to support her family and loved baking. Christmas caught her making 20 to 50 gingerbread houses for her grandchildren and others. This was before they came out in DIY packages. She made all her children's wedding cakes as well as many more for friends. Writing was also one of her many passions and she received awards for her ability!

Judi was a member of the Christian Bible Church, Cissna Park, the Paxton American Legion Auxiliary Prairie Post 150 and the Red Hat Society.
