Katherine Marie "Katie" Brzuchowski, 41 of Paxton died Monday, June 2, 2025, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells Street, Paxton with Pastor Brian King officiating.

Visitation will be one hour before the funeral service on Saturday from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Katie was born September 26, 1983, in Harvey the daughter of Daniel E. and Gale M. Lundquist Stroh.  She married Jon Brzuchowski at Zion Lutheran Church, Matteson June 25, 2006.  He preceded her in death September 2, 2022.

She is survived by her fiancé, Michael Eigenbauer; two children, Lauren and Lucas Brzuchowski, her parents, Dan and Gale Stroh of Monee, a brother Peter (Hannah) Stroh of Frankfort, one nephew, Oliver, her grandmother, Barbara Lundquist of Olympia Fields and her aunt and uncle, James and Susan Lundquist of Monee.

Katie graduated from Crete-Monee High School and from Olivet Nazarene University with a bachelor's degree in psychology.   She was working for ATS Acoustics, Piper City.

She attended the First Baptist Church of Fairbury.  She loved spending time outdoors, gardening and feeding the birds.  She was an avid beekeeper, a hobby she shared with her father.  She and her fiancé enjoyed working on their 1970 Monte Carlo.
