Kenneth Orville Riggleman, 94, of Paxton passed away at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Full Gospel Christian Fellowship, 619 S Railroad, Paxton with Pastor Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells, Paxton and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Kenny was born February 21, 1923 in Clarence the son of Orville Martin and Susan May Clark Riggleman. He married Loretta Mae Ellis November 20, 1944 in the Penfield Parsonage. She preceded him in death March 2, 2008.
He is survived by two sons, Gary (Barbara) Riggleman of Alvin, Randy (Candy) Riggleman of Paxton; one daughter, Sharron (Steve) Welch of Paxton; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson; three brothers, Cecil, Elwood and Henry Riggleman; two sisters, Leola Pinson, and infant Lenore Riggleman.
Kenny graduated from Armstrong High School. Before moving to the farm near Paxton in 1966, he lived on farms in the Loda, Penfield and Ellis areas. He was a farmer and electrician and helped bring electricity to many farms in the Loda and Paxton Area. Kenny was a member of the Full Gospel Christian Fellowship, the Farm Bureau, and served on the Ellis Grade School Board.
He enjoyed farming, old tractors, and farm auctions. His greatest joy was visiting with family and friends.
