Larry Lee Coulson, 79 of Paxton passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11:08 p.m. in his home.

A private family service will be held at Danville National Cemetery, Danville with Pastor Rachel Stockle officiating. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Larry was born July 3, 1941 in New Eagle, Pennsylvania the son of James and Sarah Morgan Coulson. He married Janice Ilse June 1, 1963 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She preceded him in death May 6, 2011.

Larry is survived by one daughter, Debra (Ray) Kennedy of Paxton; five grandchildren, Brittany Kitchens, Sara Kennedy, Shannon Kennedy, Molly Kennedy, Tim Kennedy; sister-in-law, Joan Coulson of Seattle; and numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; son, Eric Coulson and brother, James Coulson.

Larry spent his childhood in Donora, Pennsylvania and graduated from Donora High School in 1960. He received his FAA License from Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1960-1964 in aircraft maintenance stationed in Corpus Christi and attained the rank of an E5 Staff Sergeant. Larry moved to Paxton in June 2017 from Romulus, Michigan.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Michigan and also a member of Signal Seekers RC Flyers. He participated in an Honor Flight trip October 8, 2019. Larry enjoyed golfing, bowling and flying remote control airplanes. He always enjoyed his job and looked forward to going to work each and every day.
