Larry Carl Knuth, 77 of Lake Iroquois, Loda, died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 21, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 306 E. Lincoln Street, Buckley with Rev. J. Kevin Wyckoff officiating.  Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Buckley.

Visitation will be Monday one hour before the funeral service from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Larry was born August 12, 1944, in Watseka the son of Carl Christian and Helen Lucille Heimlich Knuth.  He married Sandra Louise Lehman November 21, 1964, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley.  She survives.

Along with his wife, Sandra, he is survived by a son Ronnie Carl (Lori) Knuth of Paxton; three granddaughters Brittney, Ashley and Logan; two great grandsons Declan Gehrt and Liam Wise; two sisters Betty Cleary of Mesa, Arizona, Linda Garrelts of Thomasboro; three brothers Donald (Julia) Knuth of Loda, Robert "Bobby" Garrelts of Buckley, and David "Dave" Garrelts of Paxton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Marla Jo Knuth.

Larry was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Buckley.  He retired from Laborers' Local 751, Kankakee.

He enjoyed baseball; playing for the Buckley Little League and coaching for the Paxton Little League and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.  Larry loved to garden and play cards. But most of all, he loved his family.
