Larry Dean Sutton, 65, of rural Buckley, passed away at 1:45 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2023, at his home.  He is now reunited with his wife, Barbara Lynn (Mize) Sutton, whom he married on February 19, 1976, and who preceded him in death on January 12, 2018.

Larry was born October 29, 1957, in Danville, IL the son of Liston E. and Mary H. Murray Sutton.  They preceded him in death.

He is survived by daughter Amy (Chad) Clatterbuck of Milton, FL, son Larry E. (Allison) Sutton of rural Loda, and beloved dog Willow.  He is also survived by siblings Majorie Bradford of Bedford, IN, Julie Brown of Fairmount and rural Buckley, Irene Miller of Paxton, Don Sutton of rural Paxton, Albert Sutton of Kentucky, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by siblings Liston "J.R." Sutton and Ann Newell.

Larry operated Sutton Construction for decades, working alongside his son for nearly 20 years.  He loved hunting, fishing, and most of all, his family.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held in the summer.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
