Larry L. Swindle, 79, of Buckley passed away at 7:12 a.m. Monday, May 28, 2018, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 306 E Lincoln Street, Buckley with Rev. Silas Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Buckley.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service beginning at noon on Wednesday.

Larry was born August 30, 1938 in Trumann, Arkansas the son of Herbert William and Bertha Marie Swindle. He married Evelyn Peavler.

He is survived by a son, Robert (Melanie) Swindle of Lansing; two daughters, Cheryl (Charley) Huenecke of Justice, Darlene (David) Krueger of Buckley; nine grandchildren, Mandy, Tasha and Ronni Swindle, Hanna (Josh) Trecanni, Mitch (Katie) Huenecke, Ryan, Josh, Kyle and Noah Krueger; five great grandchildren, Hunter and Tucker Trecanni, Amelia and Cooper Huenecke, Paisley Krueger; one sister, Barbara Williams of Myrtle Beach, SC and one brother, Ron Swindle of Trumann, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry graduated from Tilden Tech High School, Chicago and was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 73. He moved to Buckley in 2009. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #147, New Castle, Indiana.

Larry enjoyed watching movies. His greatest joy was spending time with his children.
